A Community Translation Event!

Darling new-community member Ivy (its_ivy) has provided a translation of Mesut's interview in German with Turkish notation! She tells us that Mesut uses the word Natürlich in Turkish a lot! It's "Tabi" in Turkish so comm members can listen for it! That translation been translated from German to Turkish by me, jenny_jenkins into English for our English speakers!

Vitally important Edit: And SELMA KAY <3 has found and translated the first part of the interview (it's longer than we thought!) for us from Turkish to English! Hooray! See our new cut for the first part!

Happy reading! I hope we got the Mesutosity across. I have to say I think Ivy captured his "voice" as it comes across in German very well <3 And so did Selma!

My kindergarten teacher was always talking about how if people put their talents together, great things develop!

Our crinkly-eared, modern day hero will be the star of a short feature film to be shown at the Berlin Football Film Festival!

The film-maker is award-winner Aljoscha Pause - best known for films on the blind Bundesliga and for films examining homosexuality in the sport. His last film, on Zinedine Zidane, won an award!

My opinion: Bild has created an entire article out of nothing new + 1 picture and a random quote from two years ago plus some charming gossip they probably manufactured out of thin air.

But who cares?!

Let's enjoy this glorious romantic moment while we all hope the two adorable young people are attached...because if it's not true, this entire community will be cast back into the romantic darkness of the past two years (*sob*) and will have to make-do with bromantic attachments.

Which is not so bad...but I'm sure we all agree that BOTH are better!
