A final note before the game in a few hours: Marca have once again written up the Croezil phenomenon - it seems to be the prevailing way in which both Marca and As, as it happens, are approaching the match.

Mesut loves Atleti! They are his favourite team...for scoring against :) Highly appropropriate of him to have picked our derby rivals as his favourite victims!

Here are some final nice pics of him getting love from his teammates (most of it Portuguese love!) but first I found Youtube footage of all of Mesut's goals against them over the past two and a half seasons. He has scored 4 goals and I'd like to share them with the community!

A Little Crözil & A Little Fabiözil

The first stage of the Euros is over. Thanks for your support. I'm also happy however about
the goals from Cristiano and Portugal progressing. Just in our group we have 5 players from Real Madrid
who have made it into the quarter final - which is what we had hoped for.
