Sami has plainly decided that Mesut may be a pest with an out-of-control Twitter account, too many bromances, and a new Tumblr addiction, but what the hell! Life without bug-eyes is not worth contemplating!
"It may be silly of me, but life without you is not worth contemplating!"
He's even decided he can put up with Sergio - sort of. Mesut meanwhile is sporting a Cheshire cat grin that suggests he knows he's won this fight.
Mesut: "I knew I was too irresistible..."
Sami: "Don't push your luck, boy!"
Sergio: "Movie at my place this evening? Just the three of us?"
And besides, Sami would like it to be known that he has options, okay.
"Kaka is my friend too."
It seems that no matter what happens though, Benzema feels left out.
"Hey Luka, back me up on this - I'm trying to explain to Karim here how four's a crowd..."

Sami and Sergio gang up on Mesut who looks as pleased as punch to be the recipient of so much attention. And then later, he's back to being his usual pesty self, bothering Sami. I'm starting to wonder if he even trains at training!

If it weren't for the fact that outside's freezing and I'm nursing a sore throat I'd go do a happy jig up and down the street. (Trust me, weirder things have happened in my neighbourhood.)

Date: 2012-11-19 08:48 pm (UTC)Obviously, what REALLY happened was that they were on the very brink of breakup and it was only the last ditch effort from Mesut which concluded with him standing in Sami's driveway with a boombox blasting "Didn't We Almost Have It All?" and shirt that read "No soy muy feliz!" that saved their relationship!
