Hi, I hope it's not off-topic, but someone posted this picture and the caption says that it's Mesut Sergio is holding.



I personally don't think that it's Mesut, he doesn't look like it at all, but my SerZil fangirl soul drags me to uncertainty. If it's really Mesut, I must have failed to recognize him though. I'd be swooning with blood pouring out from my nose if it's really him. And a fic really needs to be written if it's really our crinkly-eared hero!

Can anyone verify this?

Through the year 201Özil: The Future?

Fast bambi mobiles, big white villas, fame, glory, all the fanta he can ever dream of... Mesut has it all. But will time treat him well? Back in 2010, when he was still a fresh duckling on the international stage, sponsor Nike called out the year 201Ö and made a series of videos of which the third one answers just this question:

What will happen to Mesut in his old age?

Apparently, he leads a life of luxury, eating healthily, drinking macchiatos (I bet they're out of fashion by then), sleeping in his blue-lit oxygen tank and basking in his old glory like a retired military general... But is he happy?

Strangely enough, the video is rather melancholic in nature and ambiguous in its answer. What does it look like to you?
