Mesut's Boots Get A Declaration of Love, Argentina Match Spam & Pretty Practice Pictures!

andriy_7 is as indefatigable as ever!! We have some lovely pictures of practice yesterday with the bug-eyed gorgeous boy looking suitably bug-eyed and gorgeous! And tumblr has a bunch of lovely pics of the ill-fated game against Argentian.

But first - a development in the Nike saga and the Croezil phenomenon - because it would seem Mesut has had his wings clipped, slightly! So we begin with a Facebook update and a declaration of love!

He's imitating Crispy! There's now a '10' in his signature!!

Argentina Mini-Match Spam

It's been a splendid week for those of who take an interest in the state of the hair!

The less said about this match the better. Everything about Germany's style and attitude lately seems to be an illustration of Mats Hummels declaration that Germany are not good enough to win titles and could be living on reputation.

I sense this match is doomed...

Like, seriously. Doomed.

On the other hand...it was Germany's B team against Argentina's A team - and Germany did play 60 minutes with 10 men, gifted Argentina an own goal (courtesy of the unfortunate Sami Khedira, in his second accidental goal in two weeks!) and had looked the better team at the start of the match...

And Mesut was looking adorably crinkly eared! And had plenty of time to back up Sami in an argument with the officials!

Madrid will play Valencia on its league debut, at home. Valencia managed to take a point from this fixture last year, so it should be exciting!
