Mesut, you know I love every single thing about you, but I'm sorry, Sami was man of the match. While, yes, Mesut was nothing less than brilliant, Sami was poetry out there.
Now go make him feel better by pouring celebratory champagne all over him and licking it off.
hi everyone, I'm your silent reader for months yet really itchy bitchy to comments LoL. I'm happy they made on semifinal, Mesut achieved that motm and like Badstuber said he just forget to award himself a goal. btw, i think Germany should wear those white jersey as always not that green, from the beginning match they always winning with white jersey, good omen eh
We've calculated comments to hits and for every commentator there are about 8 silent readers. And most of you don't belong to LJ (which is why posts are not locked - not purposely anyway)!
Still - I've said it before and I'll say it again: every time a new poster comments, an angel gets his wings ;)
Hi, I'm also a silent reader so that's another angel getting wings! ;) Thanks for keeping the level of Mesut material up on the web! I would agree that Sami or perhaps wonderboy Reus would be Man of the Match, Mesut can be MotM in the final where he scores the winning goal against Spain.. :)
Mesut, Sami, Reus and Klose were quite amazing - Lahm too.
Mesut won because the technocrats at UEFA were blown away by his stats. He had 120+ passes. He made 93%. 67 of 73 passes in the final third. Xavi couldn't better those stats (in the final third) - no way!
