Holger Badstuber - Bayern's comedy centre-back and German national teammate to Mesut and Sami - is looking forward to meeting up with "Mesut Ozil and Sami Khedira" in the semi-final.

Madrid thrashed Apoel Nicosia yesterday, so Madrid will meet Bayern for the 21st time in European competition. No two teams from different leagues have met up so often.

It was community favourite Sami Khedira's birthday yesterday. He's in bed with tonsillitis (the poor duck!) but that won't keep us from celebrating.

This Real Madrid vs Bayern Munchen thingy gives me a little angst, to be honest, and evil, evil dear little Holger is not making any of this easier. The closer the game is, the more it freaks me out. I can only wish all the best for all them. :|
