It's true.

We made Lola a mod.

We have no idea why we did this...she's like a loose cannon!

Like, srsly, I love the German NT. Reus with that gorgeous assist, Mueller too, Goetze being Goetze and our Mesut with a brace. These boys, together, I want to see way more of. So much talent and adorableness. I think Loew was saving Marco and Mario for Brazil, because he's just so cheeky he can't help himself.

And if anyone could tell me who assisted Mario in his goal, that would be awesome. I miss these games, a lot, and it makes me sad.

Mmmm, a brace. And that new haircut is totally working for him.

Double good news for me last night: Bambi scored a brace AND it turns out he's un-followed Kim Kardashian on Twitter. YES! He could follow a bazillion women for all I cared, but the thought that he was interested in following the banal tweets of a Kardashian spawn always left a bitter taste in my mouth. I just ... eurgh ... Seriously, I would rather have Paris Hilton back in the spotlight than the Kardashian clan. At least she always had a cute dog with her. Still, good to see He's finally come to his senses!
(Also, it turns out he follows fellow Turk Tarkan. Holy shit! I didn't even know Tarkan was still alive!! Simarik/kiss-kiss song pretty much dominated my first year in junior high! :D)

Okay, so actually I only ever heard that one kiss-kiss song, and up until seeing his name on that list I'd clean forgotten about Tarkan for the better part of a decade (god, I feel old), but surely it ain't THAT bad? And, again, as long as it's not a Kardashian (which makes me dislike his taste in ... humanity), it's fine :)

It's just, my sister and my aunt were really really obsessed with Tarkan (in a creepy way), so for many years or so, I was forced to listen to the same song over and over again ;_;

Watched the match. I was so happy when Mesut scored 2 goals and I tried my best not to shout because it's 3 in the morning *everyone is sleeping* and mum even once scolded me for making noises. XD

They missed a lot of chances! (Faroe's goalkeeper was GREAT!! Btw!!)
But still an awesome game it was!
MÖ was all over the place again! Really nice!
I really hoped that he would be selfish for just once and tried to score! AND HE DID... TWICE!!! :)

I was really happy when I saw Özil, Reus and Götze playing at the same time ^^
I hope we'll get so to see this setup more often. I just don't want them to be replaced by Podolski, Gomez and all the others I dislike =_=

Faroer supposed to be an easy opponent, but I must say, they were really really good. Those guys are normal workers in their home country (banker, filling station attendant, etc.) so it's really nice to see how they succeeded to give the German NT a hard time.
The goal keeper was splendid!

Yeah, but the goal keeper is a professional football player from a Premier League team (granted, he doesn't actually play there, but still).

Not to deminist their capaticities. I thought they were awesome. i'm a a super iceland/greenland/faroer geek, I was just annoyed by the commentator going "oh, this keeper is actually able to do something". Like, yes, the Premier League doesn't try to have people with two left feet.
