I think that's the best way to learn... by circumstances rather than by choice. I took 6 years of Spanish and even married a fluent speaker (who never speaks to me in Spanish like I ask him). I still couldn't write a comment here in Spanish if my life depended on it. HOWEVER, I just had a thought! I do know that "adorable" in English is "adorable" in Spanish. Perhaps I could after all!
