Name/Nickname: Ella Location(s): currently Finland - but if all goes as planned, I'll move to Germany in June and stay there for a bit (the rest of the year or so) Twitter/Tumblr: http://almostmichelangelo.tumblr.com/ Club Team(s): Real Madrid Favourite players: Mesut, Marcelo, David Luiz, Sergio Ramos, Juan Mata y Pepe Favourite bromances: Serzil! Also Sergio/Iker and Torres/Mata 2 Favourite Books? Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk and Stalin's Cows by Sofi Oksanen (it's Finnish and quite unknown outside Scandinavia, but if you see it, read it: it's brilliant!) 2 Favourite Movies? Black Swan and (500) Days of Summer, if I must choose only two! I will love anything that has Audrey Hepburn in it. Favourite Music To Listen To? rock and indie; some of my favourites are The Kooks, Lana Del Rey and The Killers. I adore Bruno Mars. What was the last book you read and what did you think of it? Breakfast At Tiffany's by Truman Capote. I love it - book, movie, everything goes. What was the last movie you watched in a movie theatre and what did you think of it? The Hobbit, which I think was amazing visually (I saw the HFR 3D version) but wasn't my cup of tea otherwise Favourite Television Show? Gossip Girl Favourite Fairy Tale as a Child? The Little Match Girl by H.C. Andersen Favourite Sport that is not football and why? Ice hockey, because I grew up with it.
On to the Mesutosity:
Reminiscences: Why are you fan of Mesut's? Do you remember the moment it happened? I love the way he plays, it's beautiful. I think I fell in love with his play the first time I saw him play for Real Madrid (I don't follow Bundesliga or international tournaments) Which is your favourite of Mesut's games (one he really shone in) and why? I don't remember who we were playing against, but it definitely was a RM game. I remember him making a beautiful, absolutely brilliant backheel pass, he like twirled 180 degrees and kicked the ball with his heel and I think it was Cris who got the pass, I'm not even sure, but it was a goal. And now I feel bad because I have forgotten which game it was, lol. It was in his first season in RM tho, I'm quite sure. Tell us something about Mesut's playing you admire! The way it looks so easy, the way he creates there amazing chances for others. That's beautiful football for me, not the tiki-taka Barca plays or whatever the common opinion is these days.
Finish by posting your favourite Mesut picture and telling us why you chose it! I don't have my own computer right now, but when I do, I'll probably post it in the comments!
