Mesut + Xabi = ????

It's been noted amongst community members that there is no proper name assigned to the Mesut Özil/Xabi Alonso relationship. I know I for one, have noticed when the ever-classy Xabi Alonso seeks out Mesut to congratulate him for a job well done. It's usually subtle... You may miss it if you're not looking for it. But it's there. I give you a few examples...

Not too long back we had ourselves a little Mesut spamming bonanza over on Hala Madrid. One of my contributions was an Özil praying post. I've gone on record to admit that I find the sight of him praying strangely mesmerizing, in spite of my own agnostic stance. There were a couple of gifs of him praying I wanted to include but had lost. Finally got round to looking them up today so I thought I'd share them :)

The bubbly champagne hasn't even settled yet in the collective guts of celebrating Samisut admirers around the world after the Christmas dinner/hospital visit bonding time and ALREADY Serzil's struck back with a vengeance!

The team were gifted new Samsung Galaxy smartphones yesterday. While Sami was banished to the end of the line, look who made sure he got Mesut all for himself ...
