In Memoriam: Robert Enke

This is a fun, lively community that provides us with many laughs and coos, and it is meant to be Özil-centric, but I've decided to dedicate my first post to Robert Enke (1977-2009). Today is the 3rd anniversary of his tragic death. I did not follow Enke's career, but when news broke of his suicide in 2009 it affected me greatly because of the tragic events that lead him to take his own life. He'd suffered from depression for many years prior, which only deepened following the death of his beautiful two-year-old daughter, Lara, in 2006 due to a birth defect of the heart.

A little pick-us-upper

Commemorating Robert Enke (and Lara) and discussing my own personal battle in the past with depression, I feel now compelled to lighten the mood a bit and celebrate the more positive aspect of Life. One of those aspect that brighten up my day happens to be Mesut, so I thought a random Mesut spam post would be much appreciated right about now. Tomorrow Real goes up against Levante, so Jenny will have a lovely match-related post up soon after, but for now I just want to share some of my favourite moments of Happiness, in no particular order ~_^
