What are our thoughts about the outfit? I'm surprising myself by really liking it, although I admit my standards when it comes to footballers (or, lbr, most men) are really low...and I see we're in matchy-matchy territory again! It reminds me of the blue shiny vest fiasco! At least here I love the component parts!

After watching the mayhem unfold in Boston for the last few days, this is soooooooo welcome. SweetCocoa's doodles and Mesut being a dork makes everything better!

I approve of the get-up. Matchy-matchy, yes, but borderline tolerable. The weather looks splendid. I want to be there... and not just for the Mes. ^^

Was he ever actually ill/injured? Or have we determined he was just playing hookey with the lady love? He looks perfectly peppy.

Am trying to picture a SweetCocao sketch of Mesut with his (attempted) beard and for some reason in my head it looks like a chibi Snidely Whiplash O_o

Am actually not a big fan of facial hair, and yet somehow these damn footballers seem to be the exception. I much prefer, say, Sami or Hummels bearded. But Mesut ... I admit I'm just strongly biased because I favour the baby-faced look on him. A beard = grown up and I don't want my baby to grow up! Embrace your youth, Mesut, EMBRACE IT! D:
