If ever Real Madrid decided to hold a fundraiser (for, I don't know, to cover Cris' hair gel expenses) and were in need an idea, here's one: Hugging Booth. I'd plunk down my life savings (all 175 Euro of it!) to buy as many Mesut minutes as I could. Hug with Samisut? I'd take out a second mortgage!

I must ask, though: did Mesut suffer a traumatic training day nipple twist incident as a kid? Anytime anyone other than Sami even comes near him, let alone hugs him, during training he crosses his arms over his chest as though to shield it. Or maybe he's just super ticklish?

Anyone heard anything about his "injury" status? AS just said he's not playing this weekend because he's on the injured list. I haven't heard anything about it and checked the website but didn't read anything there either. I know I was worried after he was limping at the end of the game Wednesday but then felt better seeing him training with the group.

Well, he took a couple of knocks during the last match. I was surprised he continued at one point because you could see his ankle twist as he went down, so am not surprised.

Yeah, he's always so good about walking it off, so when he seemed to be struggling after several minutes I figured it was a good knock. I feel like he spoils us sometimes with his body of steel (hehehe)... I can't even recall the last match he had to sit out due to injury.

WOW. I've not even been looking ahead at the schedule. That's CRAZY. Which in turn means I'll be good and useless for a good week and half. May as well get my grocery shopping done now!

Considering the second one is for La Liga, which is well out of Real's range and the least of Mou's objectives, I suspect he'll swallow any pride and play the usual substitutes against Barcelona to rest the starters for the 2nd leg against Manchester.

Thank you for setting me up perfectly to divulge my latest instagram discovery.

Our darling Mandy recently began following an account called "Couplesbucketlist". It is cute beyond words, and even cuter if you actually picture Mesut participating in some of these. Personally, I'd like to see him at a waterpark. ;)

(The picture was just too big... but basically, sweet things to do together. Like "kiss at the top of a ferris wheel" or "roast marshmallows together" or "go to a waterpark". You get the idea.)
