EXTRA MESUTY-NESS FOR YOUR SUNDAY

Anyone else hung over?  'Cos seriously, yesterday was like the best sports day of my entire life.

Anyway.

THIS is Mesuty-ness for anyone who questions:

Translation (ish):

"I'm really happy."

"I worked really hard with the team."

"We won (?) and I'm really happy." (really)

"I talked a lot with the boss (mister) and I'm really happy" (REALLY)

"It was really important to win this week"

"Really good.  Kaka is my friend."

(I got fuzzy here- they worked hard and scored a lot of goals, I think)

"REALLY happy."

His Spanish isn't a whole lot better than mine, which helps.  Please do feel free to correct me.

Muy feliz.

MWAH

Every time a new poster appears in this community, an angel gets his wings!

And yes - the "music" (as Sasha would say) of every language he speaks is Turkish - and the accent is German.

Too adorable for words.

I hope my angel feels fine. :P

I find people who were brought up bilingually really fascinating. I know how his German sounds, I could not judge his Turkish though because he could as well speak Chinese, I don't get anything. *haha* But his Spanish is super interesting. It's like a little investigation :P

I was brought up bilingually - trilingually if you count French immersion in school - bilingually at home.

I've been told I have an odd turn of phrase :)

I don't mind. I wish I had no accent - but people think I'm English or Irish, never German.

I was brought up with two accents, that's weird enough for some people. My parents are originally from Romania, they were German immigrants though and they have this weird Austrian/Bavarian accent. And when I speak, people hear something odd, but I can't hear it. *lol*

My English is rather good as well and I once gave a TV interview in English and listened to myself. My accent was British, yet my "music" was German. It was an odd mix. :P
