Just saw this on twitter...

And it's not the first time he mentioned him on twitter!

There was one other time I saw him tweet specifically to Mesut and if my memory serves me correctly it was after a particularly difficult game where Mesut was subbed out at the half and there was all kinds of speculation floating around. I believe when I translated what he said it was basically, "How are you doing?" I can't find it now (perhaps it was deleted?), but maybe jenny_jenkins remembers the details better.

I have found Jerome to be one of the most pleasant professional footballers to follow. He says "good morning" and "goodnight" so sweetly, and displays so much love and support for his fellow teammates both on the club and national level, as well as for his brother and other friends. Anyways, just thought I'd share that!

That tweet - "u okay?" - was deleted. I think it was meant as a personal message that was accidentally tweeted rather than sent privately.

You won't regret it! You'll wake up in the morning and find him saying "Good morning" to you. :) The other 'baller that I love to follow for precisely the same reason (because of his politeness and genuineness) is surprisingly perhaps, Mascherano. But I have a feeling he doesn't appeal to you at all!
