Well ... that didn't last long
The bubbly champagne hasn't even settled yet in the collective guts of celebrating Samisut admirers around the world after the Christmas dinner/hospital visit bonding time and ALREADY Serzil's struck back with a vengeance!
The team were gifted new Samsung Galaxy smartphones yesterday. While Sami was banished to the end of the line, look who made sure he got Mesut all for himself ...
Am guessing this is revenge for ...
Then, during training, Sergio continued to captivate Mesut ...
Sami tried to join in, but he got a taste of what it's like to be Karim ...
(Personally, I blame that cap. NOTHING attractive about it.)
So Serzil were able to enjoy their afternoon together ...
Sergio probably would have wanted it to be a photo with just the two of them, but it's easier to talk Cris out of taking a free kick than it is keeping him out of frame ...
And just when you're thinking ...
In steps the Saint, himself unamused by the straying devotion of his faithful follower, to put an end to all this tomfoolery. Once he had Sergio as a captive audience during the flight there was no escape ...
"You shall not covet your team mate's bro!"
So then, Sami walked with Mesut then, right ... ?
Oh my. Sami's not having any of it now, Mesut. Even Benz, who should be taking advantage of this situation to sidle up alongside him, is hanging back. The stink of rejection hangs heavy on Mesut, methinks.
Will a victory (GOD, let it be a victory!!) heal their wounds, or will it just grant Sergio more opportunities on the pitch, out of immediate reach of San Iker?
