So every time you talk about "wailing" it makes me chuckle because one of my favorite singing groups is aptly named The Wailin' Jennys! And they're Canadian too! But beautiful harmonizing voices... Hate to post off-topic but here's an example... (Although, the lyrics here are quite related to the sappiness!!)
