Mesut + Xabi = ????

It's been noted amongst community members that there is no proper name assigned to the Mesut Özil/Xabi Alonso relationship. I know I for one, have noticed when the ever-classy Xabi Alonso seeks out Mesut to congratulate him for a job well done. It's usually subtle... You may miss it if you're not looking for it. But it's there. I give you a few examples...


From years past:

Look how different (and adorable) Xabi looks, all clean-shaven! WHY XABI? WHY?






Personally, I don't like this picture. It looks like Xabi is holding Mesut up
by his hair. It gives me the willies every time I see it. But it's pertinent!
